INSUNG is leading the eco-friendly Flexo printing business with DuPont’s Cyrel plates through a distribution agreement with DuPont (now DowDuPont). In comparison with conventional offset printing methods which require copper plates and oil-based inks, Flexo plates are easier to maintain and last longer while utilizing water based inks in smaller amounts. While offset printing can only be accomplished on a smooth, flat surface, Flexo plates allow printing on a wide variety of substrates making it a convenient choice for flexible packaging and small quantity batch production.
